Obituary of Edith Filzek
Obituary Edith was born on October 24, 1924 in Frankfurt, Germany to parents Peter and Marie Kopp.
Edith married Norbert Gregor Aloisius Filzek on July 6, 1946 in Frankfurt, Germany and had a career as a clerk at the German Post Office.
In 1989 Edith and Norbert moved to Canada where they resided in Fort St. John, British Columbia until Edith's death at the age of 90 on October 10, 2015 in Dawson Creek, British Columbia.
Edith was predeceased by her loving husband Norbert (1991), son Marc (1993) and brothers Ernst and Edwin.
Edith is survived by her daughters Angela Neurath of Fort St. John, British Columbia and Brigitta Scholl of Frankfurt, Germany and sisters Meta of Vancouver, British Columbia and Helga of Frankfurt, Germany.
