Obituary of Cecil Quast

Obituary Cecil Glen Quast of Fort St. John, British Columbia passed away at the age of 80 on October 30, 2015 in Fort St. John, BC. Cecil was born on September 23, 1935 to parents David and Katherine in Wetaskiwin, Alberta. He married his love Patricia and started his career as a welder and worked for 35 or more years. Cecil was predeceased by his son Gary Wayne Quast; brothers Charles Grant Quast and Gerald David Quast; and father David Quast. Cecil is survived by his wife Patricia Jean Quast; daughter Cheryl Ann (Quast) Lawson; grandchildren Kenton Osterlund and Katrina Osterlund; brothers Randy Quast (Rachel) and Les Quast; sisters Sheila Sharpe (Gary), Diane Petty (John) and Elaine Robinson; mother Katherine Giesbrecht, as well as, numerous nieces and nephews. Special thanks go to Dr. Mader and the team of specialists at the Prince George University Hospital, as well as, Sara- RN who was an angel in scrubs. Also thanks to Dr. Coutter and the nurses at the Fort St. John Hospital. A memorial tea will be held Friday, November 13th at 2:00pm from Hamre's Funeral Chapel.
