Thinking about Glenda and remembering a incident we had at the greenhouse involving a squirrel. During the summer we often had squirrels visit the greenhouse. One time we were trying to direct one out. Glenda was instructing me where to go to block it and she would go another way. While it decided to go up a post. Glenda no fear held a broom up at it and shooing it. The squirrel jumped at her face. I stood there in fear and she just ran at it with the broom. We laughed at it after. Something I always remember when I see a squirrel. Thanks Glenda for the fun times while at work.

I was so struck by Jim and Glenda's positive mindset as they walked their journey towards the end. Every time I saw them, they were smiling, and saying they had so much to be thankful for. Our family has been both a client and a friend to Glenda for many years. I have been bringing my grand daughter to Dunvegan since she was in her little "carrier basket" as an infant. My grand daughter is now 18 years old and we have never missed a summer visit with Glenda and her staff. I am so saddened to hear this news as I was unaware she was ill. She always had a smile on her face and a sunny outlook on life and always took the time to share her knowledge on flowers and planting with us. I was so impressed at her love for her grandchild and I know in my heart there is a special place for Glenda with Jesus.
