Was deeply saddened to hear this news, another pioneer of our area, was given wings.Pat was a kind generous man. Don't get me wrong, I hear he had a pretty good temper too. I never saw that. When I worked at 54 restaurant years ago, I don't think hardly a day would go by that Pat didn't come in, and was always buying someone breakfast or lunch,he always paid before anyone else had a chance to. He would frown pretty hard if you managed to beat him to the draw. On days when I was home at 68, if I looked up quick enough, I would see Pat go by, on his way in or out of the ranch, he made darn good use of all those pick-ups he purchased. Now and then, if I was in the front yard,and he saw me quick enough, he would stop and chat. He was a good friend and neighbor.
