We were neighbors growing up. I could run the path through the woods in the dark (15 min hard running). In fact one day I had to. My parents were gone and I went to check the momma pig who was suppose to give birth. I got there and a piglet was coming out. I had never seen this and so I ran hard through the woods-even ran straight into a barb wire fence... I needed my uncle Aron. When I arrived. He said in a very calm manner, well lets go see what we can do. He dropped everything and took me in his truck. When we got there he gave me a lesson on the birds and bees of animals giving birth. Uncle Aron was also my favorite Sunday School teacher in my youth years. His humble matter of fact and loving ways were a perfect fit for youth. With loving memories Margie Wiebe
