As her neighbor for many years she was always a always a pleasure. Too bad she had not wrote a book on her life and experiences, would be a great read! Her family can take comfort in what a fine person she was xo

Mrs. Nelson was my principal of the Montney School from Grade 1 to 4 and my teacher for Grade 5. She was a dedicated teacher and a fine lady. My parents took me to meet her before I started grade one nearly 5 decades ago. She will be sadly missed and my deepest condolences to her family for their loss.

I was lucky enough to have her as a teacher as well, and share many of the same sentiments! She was an amazing teacher, truly loved her students and it showed...she was always smiling and engaged in what was going on with her students. I saw her on and off over the years after she retired...she always remembered me and always wore her same bright smile! She was the perfect combination of stern but gentle...she was never a push over with the students but was always able to keep people in line in a kind and gentle manner. So grateful to have had her impact my life...great memories will temper the sadness of hearing she has passed on.

Mrs N was my teacher and friend; will miss her unique smile and sense of humor. She gave everything to her students. When I broke my leg she would bring me homework every Friday and take what I did back with her. I never failed that grade and was in the hospital for 4 months; that is dedication to your job. We will miss her very much. (:(A candle was lit

My son, Justin Sewell, was in the same class with Nathan... I believe she had a profound effect on Justin and his future... the very best teacher he ever had! Teachers have the ability to do so much good for the world in shaping the future leaders of our country. and Mrs. Nelson was a fine example of that!Linda Stringer
