Dear Elaine and family,We are sending our love to you at this time.Some time ago, on a visit to Fort St. John, Denis and I walked around the race track on Rene and Elaine's farm on a glorious sunny day. This track curved around the trees at the end of the property. Denis, who loved the outdoors, had many stories to share as we walked, stories of moose and duck hunting, and fishing. Elaine would often have the "privilege" of plucking the feathers and gutting the fish.Denis had a special passion for gold panning, and his eyes would light up talking about this hobby. He would often enter and win gold panning competitions with his special skill. The last time I saw Denis, I was reminded so much of my brother, Rene. His speech and mannerisms were a chip off the old block. I will always cherish my memories of my nephew.Love from Uncle Roger and Judy

We always had the pleasure of seeing Denis at the World Invitational Panning at Peace Island Park . He was an avid planner . He was great to listen to of his trips to various competitions.
