I met Angie on May 26, 2017 at her sister, Shannon's UNBC graduation. You can not help but be impressed by Angie. She has this way of lighting up the space all around her, with her wit, dynamic intelligence, kick ass sense of humour ... and most of all her profound kindness. I was taken in ... listening to Angie, her gorgeous daughters, siblings and friends, as they shared story after story, that inter-connected generations, with laughter and love. This is extraordinary ... as family stories ... well they are for family, but I felt warmly welcomed, included in the shenanigans, daring feats of bravery, and just plain fun. That is the gift of Angie, she makes all in her radius, feel comfortable. YOU feel the light of her spirit and the warmth of her heart ... immediately. I can feel the same inner strength and beauty radiating from her girls ... all VERY special individuals. My heart goes out to Angie's lovely daughters and grandchildren, her husband, all of her siblings, her Mom and Dad, Rena and Bob, and all of her friends and extended family. Angie welcomed and invited me into her home every time I stopped by her house, (which was a lot a few years ago) -even for Christmases, and stopped to talk to me each time I saw her around town. It was with great sorrow when I received the phone call about Angie, it still hasn't hit home. I loved Angie for 20 years. She was truly one of a kind with her quick wit, her kindness towards others, she stood for what she believed in, and most importantly her love for her family, her children, and her husband.My most cherished memories are of our horseback rides, her first few rides on Romeo, riding the trails in the Prince George area, in particular the trails at the snowmobile club in Prince George. Also, the time we hauled out to Hudson Hope for a poker ride, Kia came with us that time, of taking riding clinics at the arena, she encouraged me to go out of my comfort zone.
