I came upon this entirely by chance as I looked up surnames with my daughter. As a boy I remember 'cousin' Ray coming to visit mom & dad in Fort Assiniboine (Bob and Eve Renfert) and recall his outgoing happy go lucky disposition, and how often, naturally and easily he laughed. Despite only a few direct memories of him being around I have no trouble remembering him for these things beside the family connection. I'm really sorry to come across this, but he lived well and I have no doubt any of you who are his descendants benefitted from knowing him. As dad would say "so long, Ray".
