Dear Tammy Carol and I were shocked and saddened to hear of Rick's passing. We wish you all the strength in the coming days. I'm so glad I got to spend some time with him and share some beers in his trip to Cranbrook recently, he was so upbeat at that time. The pain and uncertainty has left him now however our memories of him will stay with us forever....all our love to you......Pat and Carol

Dear Tammy, I wish to extend my deepest condolences to you and your family on behalf of the members of the Plumbing Officials' Association of BC. Rick was a vital member of the POABC Executive from 2011 to 2017, and his energetic and dedicated approach was appreciated and well respected. Rick oversaw the POABC conferences, ensuring a high standard for seamless event coordination and always excellent food throughout. I very much appreciated Rick's common-sense approach and great sense of humour and will miss him. Brian Husband

We lost track of each other later in life but he was always my shadow. I was hoping to reconnect but never got the chance. To those in the same situation, do not wait you never really know how much time a person has.

Tammy and family. I can't find the words to express how shocked and saddened I was to hear of Rickys passing. I'm going to miss our phone calls and jokes. Even when they were on me. Always good for a laugh. Take care of yourselves. Love Uncle Paul & Aunt Sharon.

I will always remember when Ricky was not quite two. He was in the play pen in my parents kitchen. I think he was feeling ignored because when I entered the back door he shouted my name so clearly. It was the first time I heard him say my name. A lasting memory. Love Aunt Brenda

I have many memories of Rick and the constant of them all was his constant smile and witty comebacks. Rick's face always lit up when he spoke of his family - especially his grandchildren. My sincerest condolences to Tammy and family at this time.

Working with Rick meant a constant stream of jokes and snappy comebacks. We all enjoyed his humour and appreciated his knowledge in the department. His pride and love for his family was clearly evident and he always spoke of you all in the highest regard - this was something that was commented on by many co-workers over the years. May your memories give you comfort at this time.
