Obituary of Cindy Thorne

Obituary It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Cindy. She passed away surrounded by family on February 1st after a courageous fight with cancer. Cindy Lynn Thorne (Neil) was born November 23, 1958, in Calgary, Alberta. She was the third child of late Mary Elizabeth and late Russell Neil. With her two older brothers, late Gary and Paul (Gerri), and younger sister, Jeanne (Michael), she grew up in Burnaby, BC. She had a long career in computer programming in her self-made company while raising her four children. She will be deeply missed by her kids, Rachael (Shelby), Tyler, Deanna (Cody) and Candice, and her vast web of family and friends. You could often find Cindy proudly tending to her garden throughout the seasons. She loved good food and socializing, enjoyed going to movies and playing rummoli with her family.
