Pete was always a constant in our children's lives. When Pete was driving the bus, you could always count on him to get the Buick children to school regardless of the weather. Being a professional truck driver gave Pete the upper hand on the weather. Snow and ice did not deter him. Though our kids walked to school, they had many field trips where Pete was the bus driver and he always got the kids there safe and sound. One of our fondest memories of Pete as the "bus driver" was when our kids were celebrating a birthday, Pete would take a whole busload of kids and drive them right into our yard and drop them right outside our front door to attend the birthday party, including the birthday boy or girl. That was a real treat for them. Pete touched many lives, and he will be missed dearly.The Heber Family

We, Randy and Evelyn Davidson are thinking of each of Pete's family, and it is rather large. Randy Davidson vividly remembers Pete's hospitality as we visited on his farm. He had this big grin as he showed me his tractor, an antique Ford. He also had just bought another school bus, but he was using the old one until some quirks were resolved in the new one. We seemed to have so many things in common and had such an interesting visit, followed by a lovely meal served by his efficient wife. This news has come as a shock. We will remember him with affection, and the family in prayer.

Pete drove all 4 of our kids to school over the years. We were always grateful for the clean, orderly bus trips. Our children were all quite fond of "bus driver Pete"! He hauled loads of our precious kids to and from school for many years, always keeping them safe. You will be missed Pete!
