I remember when George was a young teenager on grammas farm in alberta and my sister Valerie was 6 or 7 and I was 5 or 6 years old. George was put in charge of valerie and I rebelled against his ordering us around and making us work. Carrying water across the street to chickens. I put the pail down in the middle of street because it was hurting my hand and George as we called him yelled at me and when I didn't move off the street he got the hose and sprayed me I started screaming and aunt dot came out and started screaming and got the hose and sprayed us all. Good thing there wasn't much traffic on that road and it was summer weather. I remember hear he for a man that had a big loving heart. My deepest condolences to all who loved him.
