Our family came to know Helen and her husband through the Hythe Motor Speedway. Her bubbly spirit and contagious smile made everyone's day better just by being near her. Her kind, sweet personality and loving nature made her Momma B to many and they all loved her like she was their own and she in return treated them like her kids. I have such fond memories of talking with her and sharing laughs around a bonfire or at the back gates. You could definitely consider yourself a lucky person if you had the pleasure of knowing Helen. Our condolences go out to her wonderful husband, her boys and their extended families. Helen was one of my customers whom I adored, she could take any yarn and make something beautiful out of it and when she stopped in to see me she would be wearing one of her own creations! My most sincere condolences to John and family. Helen was a wonderful person and an amazing boss. She had a sharp wit and an infectious laugh that could fill a room. She was also there with a kind word and a huge hug when I lost my Dad at 18. To this day, whenever I smell perfume and menthol cigarettes I think of Helen. Rest in peace my friend, I will never forget you.
