Obituary of Len Gardner

Obituary It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Len Craven Gardner at the age of 44 years Len Gardner was born on June 30th, 1973 in Fort St..John, BC, and died peacefully on April 29th, 2018. Len is survived by his common law partner (Shaylan) son Deklan and father Reg Gardner, and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his mother,(Jean) his two sisters(Eleanor, Danni) When Len was younger you would often find him on his dirt bike with his cousin Greg. Something he talked about so frequently. He loved the water, deep diving was Lens passion. Len was an avid collector of action figures and comics. Something Deklan has taken a great interest in over the last few years. He inherited the love of classical music from his mom. However Metallica is what you would hear him listening to whether it be in the kitchen cooking or on a family road trip. Len was full of life, his smile was contagious his heart was pure gold. His kind and caring nature is going to be greatly missed by everyone who got the pleasure of knowing him. He truly loved being a dad, and the bond him and Deklan shared was like no other. A Celebration of Life for Len will be held on Saturday, May 26th at 2pm from Hamre's Funeral Chapel. In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy can be made in memory of Len to the Jean Gardner Memorial Fund through the Fort St. John Hospital Foundation.
