I got to play along side him and enjoyed our time in the dressing room together even more so. I just ran into Pauls obituary on Facebook tonight and wanted to leave a tribute. My condolences to the entire Leriger family.Paul held a special place in my heart, growing up next door to the Lerigers and as an adult living in the community where Paul was involved in so many areas that touched my life. When my grandma passed away at the care home, Paul attended on behalf of Hamres and I remember thinking that he was the most appropriate person I could think of to be there to take her away. He meant a lot to our family and he had such a calming, understanding way about him. I ran into him on the street one day and shared the good news of my daughter expecting her first child. He teared up as he congratulated me. He said he remembered my daughter as a baby and he was happy for her. Paul was one of those guys that cared about and influenced everyone he met. He was kind and a gentleman to the bone. He will be missed. May he Rest In Peace.
