I had the honour of meeting Fred in 2006 at the First Annual Spirit of the Peace powwow in Taylor. When we could not find a venue to host our celebration, the Council and community of Taylor embraced our committee. We are planning our 14th Annual celebration this year. You will not be forgotten for your love of your community and people!! My sincere condolences to your loved ones. RIP Fred

Fred was first a friend, a mentor, and college of mine. He truly was a great man. His heart was always for the citizens of Taylor young and old. As a friend Bruce and I spent many hours talking and laughing with Fred, as a mentor he guided me often with his wisdom. As a college he always put of student first and was a great asset to school district 60 as one of our many partners. He will be remembering for his soft-spoken wisdom, gold panning and always his smile. Our hearts go out to Judy and your family
