I'm so sorry to hear of your loss, Linda. I understand what this loss is as I lost my husband Doug. Wayne was my first cousin and we saw a lot of one another as children, but not as adults as I moved to Calgary after getting married. I had three sons, and when I had my third son, I gave him his second name after Wayne. So his name is Troy Wayne. I loved Wayne's gentle, kind nature which was my reason for naming my son in his honour. Plus Wayne has always been a handsome man. You and your family's loss is so profound - and a loss to us all who knew him. Sending much love to you and your family.

Once when Waynes daughter Wendy and I were young teens, we took a bus trip to Grande Prairie. Our dads saw us off at the bus station. We looked out the bus window at them talking together, concerned about their kids and we laughed about our dads being such easy friends. I took several trips with the Fehr family and Wayne never made me feel like anything less than one of his own children. He had an easy kindness about him, an accepting nature and a gentle spirit. He was one of a kind and now gone much too soon. My husband, Mike and I and our most heartfelt condolences.
