Obituary of Shelby Alexandra Barrette

Obituary Shelby Alexandra Barrette 1992-2019 Shelby Barrette, of Fort St. John, British Columbia passed away on April 22, 2019. Shelby was born in Grand Forks, British Columbia in the spring of May 5, 1992 to parents Eva & Randy Barrette. Later Shelby’s family moved to Fort St. John where she attended her school years and continue to experience her youth. She is survived by her mother Eva Baker & spouse David and her father Randy Barrette; brother Andrew McLeod and spouse Korinne; sons Jayden Ewasiuk (age 8) & Trenton Hutchinson (age 5); Brianna and Lyndsay, as well as her large extended family. Shelby was an individual who had the kindest of hearts. Her sincere need to help others lead her to helping the lost, troubled and forgotten. Her compassion was shared not only to human beings, but to animal as well; she felt the connection to both. Her free spirit, her independence and her zest for new experiences were just a few of the beautiful qualities that she held. Shelby was a courageous young woman who fought very hard to overcome her battles. For those who knew her, understood her and how hard it was to deal with the day to day life of having a mental illness.
