Obituary of Gail Scott

Obituary Gail Ellen Scott (nee McIvor) March 26, 1943. Regina Saskatchewan ~ May 29, 2019. Fort St. John BC It is with deep sadness that we share the news of the passing of Gail Scott, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. Gail served the Fort St John community through her work with the Alzheimer’s Resource Centre (1988 - 1996), as a founding member of the Fort St John Palliative Care Society, and as Board Member of the Peace Lutheran Care Home (1990 - 1996). Her time in Grande Prairie Alberta (2001 - 2015) was highlighted by her service as Church Secretary and Elder of the Forbes Presbyterian Church. Returning to Fort St John in 2015, Gail suffered from Progressive Supranuclear Palsy, her final year spent in the Fort St John Hospital and at Peace Villa. She is much loved and greatly missed. Expressions of sympathy may be made by way of donation to either the Fort St John & District Palliative Care Society, or the Fort St John Alzheimer’s Society. Commemoration Service details to follow.
