Obituary of Leonard Wagner
Obituary
It is with heartfelt sadness we announce the passing of our Dad on Sept 15, 2019.
Leonard was born on Dec 8, 1943 in Wembley, Alberta.
He was the youngest of 4 children.
He will be missed by his children; daughter – LaDonne; son – Ken (Jody); son – Chet.
His grandchildren; Brendan, Isaac, Jada, Evan, Iyla. Our Mother – Sandy and daughter-in-law – Kristy.
Leonard had previously said goodbye to his beloved parents – Chester and Florence Wagner; his sister Marion Tatlow.
He leaves a sister Lillian Kocher and brother Dennis; his many nieces and nephews and friends.
He was a joker and like to socialize; loved to make people laugh.
His wit was quick and his laugh was infectious.
He loved his sports – especially baseball which he played since his youth. You could find him at a ballpark or a hockey arena.
Memorial services will be held Friday, October 18th at 3:00 pm from the Catholic Church of the Resurrection with a time for sharing and refreshments immediately after at the Royal Canadian Legion Hall. In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy can be made in Leonard's memory to the Fort St. John Hospital Foundation.
The family is grateful and would like to thank the Palliative care nurses and doctors who looked after Dad during his illness at the FSJ Hospital. As well as everyone who came to be with him and spend time visiting.
