Obituary of Chloe Eady
Obituary
Chloe Rose Allen was born in Red Deer, Alberta on February 28th, 2007. She moved to Fort St. John, BC in October, 2007 with her mom, Jennifer Eady and her sister, Maybelle Allen.
Chloe attended the Central French immersion program and had just started her first year at Bert Bowes. Chloe was a band student and was very proud to be able to play, “Oh, Canada” on her trumpet. She loved to dance and was very active in a variety of groups, including dance, soccer, basketball, badminton, sports camp, Camp Sagitawa, King’s Valley Camp and scouts. She loved to travel and enjoyed both a trip to Disney Land and Disney World and just recently was delighted to take a trip to Quebec with her grade six class.
Chloe loved to craft and style hair. She was very artistic and enjoyed to crochet, knit, bracelet braiding and any other craft she could find on Google.
Chloe passed away unexpectedly, in her sleep, on October 15th from a congenital brain cyst that burst.
Chloe is survived by her mother, Jennifer Eady and her sister Maybelle Allen and stepdad, Michael Eady. Chloe will be greatly missed by her Grandma, Jo-Ann Meyer, step-grandparents, Stephen Eady and Anne Walsh, her Uncle Jon and Auntie Tabitha Meyer, cousins, Victoria, Justin and Jaden Meyer, Uncle Mike Meyer, Uncle Curtis and Auntie Melissa Horne, cousins, Malia and Ella Horne, Uncle Gene and Aunt Katherine Zubovich and her puppy, Cookie.
Chloe attended Evangel Chapel for most of her life and was so excited to finally be old enough to attend Youth Group. Chloe had many friends and was very much a peace maker. Chloe was quick to hand out a hug and to tell you she loved you. She will be deeply missed by friends and family, and all who knew her.
A memorial is planned for 4:00 p.m. on October 25th at Evangel Chapel, across from Dairy Queen. Pastor Tony Warriner will officiate. In lieu of flowers, we are in the process of setting up a charity in honour of Chloe to support single moms in the community. Details will follow.
