Sharon and family, Wayne just came into my memory so I thought I would search only to find he had passed away a while back. So sad to hear. I knew Wayne from the mid 1970's onwards from our days in Fort St. John. I flew for Baltic Drilling, North Cariboo Air and Symco Drilling Fluids back in those days. We last worked with each other at Buffalo Airways on a summer fire season contract in 2001-02. He got his guitar out many times while we sat around at the crew house and played blue grass music. Of course I also flew in his Beaver (with him as Pilot) on floats out of Charlie Lake back into the mountains. A rare genuine man, truly fun to be around with lots of campfire stories. -Grant Gibson

Dear Sharon and family.I am deeply saddened to hear of Wayne's passing.Please accept my condolences, and know Wayne was always one of my heroes, as a young boy I would listen to Wayne, Terry, Tom and my Dad Fred tell stories that are more like legends compared to nowadays. The last time I saw Wayne & Sharon at Aunt Margaret's funeral, we promised to have a music jam the next time we could get together.
