Obituary of Carol MacLachlan

Obituary It is with sorrow and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved wife and mother Carol Lynne MacLachlan on December 30th 2019. Carol was married to William Glen MacLachlan Oct 21, 1961 and shared a loving and dedicated 58 years of marriage. Carol is survived by her loving husband Glen, children Debbie Pinkerton (Allan) Nadine Kam (Brent) and Andy MacLachlan (Lori), her brother Kevin McManus and sister Karen Hiebert (Glen) as well as her grandchildren Amber, Racheal, Hadley, Camryn and great grandson Chance. She was predeceased by her siblings Gladys, Frank, Bettie, Shirley and grandson Jaysun. Carol passionately dedicated her life selflessly supporting her family and loved ones. This admirable trait extended beyond those she knew and loved in her role as a Foster Parent and on the Special Olympics committee. Carol and Glen have changed lives by fostering many youth in Fort St John. She developed profound relationships with several of her foster children and their families. (Sonya, Jennifer, Mary) Carol requested that there be no service. The family plans to hold an open house in her honour in the spring. In lieu of flowers Carol’s family requests that you make a donation in her name to the charity of your choosing. Carol’s family sends their love and gratitude to all who were blessed to have her in their lives. She will be dearly missed by all who loved her. Services
