I remember Nick and Lydia from the days they ran the Triple xxx and there dedication and patronage to Elks and Royal purple womans auxiliary. So sorry for your loss. When I was a young boy I remember your Mom and Dad dancing away the evening to the sound of the Rhythm Nights in the Elks hall Great times to remember.

As an ER nurse in TR and a friend of both your parents I want to say how much I loved both of them..I was there the night your Mom passed away and have several pairs of slippers your mother made for me and bought many things that your Dad made as gifts from his leather making business. I was going to an Alabama concert at Encana with friends when we thought we saw Nick up ahead of us a few years ago.. He said his son was coming but had a flood or something like that at the apartment building he was looking after and might not be able to make it. I felt that he was happy to know that there were other people there that he knew. The most intense memory is when your Dad had a heart attack and we did an intense 6 hour resuscitation and he survived. I can't remember how many years ago that was but I'm guessing 6 to 8.. After that Lydia and Nick invited the doctors and nurses to a fabulous dinner at their home, which is just around the corner from mine and your Mom was a great cook and a great hostess.. Great memories and sorry for your loss.. Last time I talked to Nick he was really happy to be helping with his grand-daughter getting her to school etc.Still miss them both!
