Obituary of Lois Oliver

Obituary Lois Kerik Oliver of Charlie Lake, BC entered into rest April 20, 2020, in the Fort St. John General Hospital after a short battle with Cancer. Lois Kerik was born in Rocky Mountain House, Alberta, July 22nd, 1952 to her parents, Lyal & Mary Kerik. Lois was the 5th born child to a loving family of 10 and she was proud to be Lyal’s first. Lois married her first husband Leonard Dille in 1970 and together for 18 years they raised their 4 children; Tony, Lory, Paula, and Erin. Prior to moving to BC in 2003, she lived most of her life around the Drayton Valley surrounding areas. Lois was predeceased by her daughter Paula Michelle Dille in 1990, her common law husband Wayne Oliver in 1999, Father Lyal Kerik in 2001, Mother Mary Kerik in 2010, and her daughter Erin Victoria Dille in 2016. Lois Oliver is survived by her partner Daryl Prive of Fort St. John, BC, her daughter Lory Dille (Korey Ollenberger) of Pink Mountain BC, son Tony Dille of One Hundred Mile House, BC, her grandchildren, Marissa, Tristan, Tanika, Brittany, Destiny, Dayna, Douglas, Rain, and her seven sisters and two brothers; Betty Suprowich (Al) of Winnipeg MB, Marion Weber (Ray) of Texada Island BC, Brenda Coderre (Omar), Tom Davies, Barb Mazza, Lyle Kerik (Debbie) all of Rocky Mountain House AB. Lucille Turbak (Henry) of Calgary AB, Connie Holloway (Randy) of Edson AB, and Sheila Oja (Gord) of Sherwood Park AB, as well of numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Lois is also survived by her Aunt Patricia Kerek of Calgary AB, and one great granddaughter, Victoria in Dawson Creek, BC. Lois had a unique kindness towards animals, enjoyed gardening, and loved to travel and be outdoors, with fishing and curling being her favourite activities. In her final years of retirement, she travelled to Las Vegas, Puerto Vallarta, RV’d to Alaska, and went on an Alaskan Cruise, she never missed a family reunion and enjoyed following the rodeo trail with her granddaughters, Brittany & Destiny. She had a love for life and zest for knowledge. Lois will be greatly missed and will continue to be loved by all. Services
