Obituary of Tracey Ann Fletcher

Obituary Tracey Ann Fletcher (Wright) Born November 21 1966 - July 3 2020 Tracey passed quietly at home after a long battle with Cancer. She is predeceased by her Mother Ann (1995) and her Brother Spencer (2020). Tracey is survived by her Husband Roy, Daughter Deanne Small (Trent), grandchildren Emma, Hayley, Shyanne, Jace, Little Hayley, Natalie, and Makayla. Daughter Tara Stevens, Son Daniel (Alexis), grandchildren Theodore, Valerie and Zander and Daughter Kristina (Billy), grandchildren Caylin and Liam, Father Robert (Marlyn) and Brother Stephen (Jennifer) Tracey was born on November 21 1966 in Horsham Sussex, England. When she was still a young girl her family moved to the small village of Glise, Wales UK. She grew up there surrounded by family until immigrating to Canada in August of 1979 at the age of 13 with her Father Robert, Mother Ann, and 2 younger brothers Stephen and Spencer. Tracey lived in Calgary and several other locations in and around Alberta for several years. Tracey finally moved to Grand Prairie, AB in 1993 and there she met Roy in November of 1995. They moved to Fort St. John, BC in August of 1997 to follow their dreams and where they raised their kids and enjoyed the births of their many grandchildren. Tracey was a fun-loving individual with a heart of gold and kind intentions that wasn’t afraid to speak her mind. She enjoyed being with family and friends and It was not unheard of for Tracey to have company over for a game of darts, ping pong or even just a social drink and chat. She loved her greenhouse, and to just sit around a campfire, or to travel to beautiful destinations. She has found her way into the hearts of the many people she has met throughout her travels and daily life. Unfortunately, Tracey was hit with cancer for the first time in 2013 which she beat. Again, cancer hit in late 2017 again she showed strength and beat it for the 2nd time. Finally, Cancer came again in April 2020 and ravaged her already tired body. Tracey finally succumbed on July 3 2020. Tracey you are so missed. Tracey has asked that we have a Celebration of life to honour her passing. So as such there will not be a formal funeral, but rather a small gathering of family only. For all Roy’s and Tracey’s friends and extended family please come and join our family to celebrate Tracey’s life. Tracey’s Celebration of life will be July 26 2020 Venue TBA Services
