Garry was an older wiser cousin with an infectious laugh and a gentle warm manner. We loved the family gatherings when Garry was there because he was a lot of fun to be with. When we were small Garry had lots of pets and we would be entertained by his pet hamsters and his rabbits that would run freely in his yard. We had many birthdays, Christmas's or special occasions with Uncle Erving, Aunty May & Garry, he would be the highlight of the visit and was challenging us to hockey games and him being the older cousin it was always "game on". Lots of laughing and good fun when we were with Garry. Garry was the happiest when beautiful Sandra came into his life with her long blonde hair and her bashful smile. She was truly his best friend.
