I met Mrs Simmons when I worked at Walt's Automotive. She was such a nice lady, one year I got her a dog from the SPCA and gave it to her as a Valentines gift. She loved that dog and that dog loved her. Rest In Peace Mrs. Simmons, I will always remember you.

As a young kid, I was a regular at Encore Books. I'd go in sometimes several times a week for the comics, and I would chat to Pat for a long time, every single week. She lived near my grandma's home, and I'd see Pat out on her front yard some days, and always say hi, and she even invited me in for a snack once or twice. This routine went on for at least 8 years, until I graduated high school and moved away, but I would still come by to visit Pat whenever I was back in town until Encore burned down. After that it was harder to track her down, but I'd still run into her every now and again, although it's been about 6 years now.Pat was a very important person in my life in Fort St. John, and I will always look back on her fondly, and warmly. Thanks for being an incredible lady, Pat. My heartfelt condolences to the family.
