It will be 3 yrs on October 30/2023 that our dear loving mother had passed away and 3 yrs on June 7/2024 that our father passed on. We really don't know how much we cherish our parents and the things they did for us the day we were born to being an adult and leaving the nest to start a life of our own. On August 27/2023 our parents finally was laid to rest with our grandparents in the Beach Mount cemetery in Edmonton Alberta. This was their wishes to be resting with our mother's parents. Mom and Dad you are with God in the heavens above and one day we will meet again. You will always be held close to my heart. I love you Mom and Dad

( MOTHER )In the time of need she will be there no matter day or night nor rain or shine she will be there. Her heart filled with love patience heal and grace. She was there for my birthday's, the first scrape on my knee and first sting of a bee.She was there to tuck me in a night, read me a bed time story followed by a kiss and wish me a good night.She was there to pick me up when I fell and hold me close on cold winter nights.She was there my first day of school and hoping I wouldn't break any rules.She was there graduation day and proud as a mother can be.She was there to give me courage and strength to leave home and stand on my own.She maybe gone but her love and soul will carry on. Our mother wasn't just a mother she was also a very good friend to everyone that knew her and would always make time to have coffee with her friends at home or in a coffee shop. She would help you out anyway she could. She was a mother grandmother and great grandmother. She always made time to send birthday cards to her kids and grandkids. When she wasn't busy cleaning her home or donating her time to the social credit party or spending time helping us kids in the activities we were involved in you would find her caring for her flower beds. She would always tell me slow and steady wins the race. She always put others before her and her family was the most important part of her life. Our mother will be greatly missed but never forgotten. We will cherish our memories of you and carry them in our hearts until we meet again. We love you mom. May you walk with God in heavens above. Here are a few photos of our mother and her family. I couldn't have described our mother any better than you did. She was very compassionate and loving to all of us. She also loved the animals we had on the acreage and really took a deep passion for her flower gardens. She also did spend countless of hours up at night helping out with our school work. Our mother was also a good at sewing and patching. May our mother rest in peace she is with God now.

I first met Irene when she came through my till at Overwaitea so many years ago. I loved her from the moment I met her - especially when we shared our Edmonton connections. I was missing my home in the city and when we talked about places we both knew, I felt better. Through the years she and Claude always had time for a coffee or a chat. I valued her opinions, loved her humour and will miss having her here. Heartfelt sympathy to Claude and family.

Dear Uncle Claude and my cousins. I am so sorry to hear of Auntie Irene's passing. Many fond memories when we were kids visiting you all in Ft. Sask. and her delicious cooking. Remembering nice visits over the years when they came to Edmonton. She was so excited to show photos and share stories of their adorable miniature horses and we had many prayerful times when Uncle Claude was in hospital here. She phoned my Mom (Betty) just a few weeks ago and they had such a nice chat. Heartfelt condolences to Claude, Tom, Terry, Tim, Tracy & Brenda and families.Irene and I were first acquainted in 1968 when she hired me for the summer to help with her 4 energetic little boys and their lovely new home. My Mother: the glue that held the family together, so many good memories, the mother you could count on, talk too, console with, trust, gave unconditional non bias love to all who knew her, raised her children with passion, patience, and lots of love. This is so sad. We met Irene a couple years ago during a school visit to peace villa for a Christmas project with the seniors. My son and her made a very special connection and we went back for various visits with her. Our last visit was at Valentines Day when my son brought her a card and magazine.
