Dear Clovette, today I learned of your passing. My last contact was an email from you. At the time I was dealing with two cancers and subsequently some fatigue. I did send an email and attempted several phone calls. I left a message, then phone calls were unsuccessful with a message that the number was moult in service. Today I called the Ministry to contact. This is where I learned the news of your passing. I was shocked and Devi stated. It is so unexpected, I am so sorry and very sad. You were an amazing coworker and friend. I have missed you through these past months. I thought you might have gone on your holidays as per usual. I remember how you loved your family and church community. I loved you as a dear friend. You are a tremendous loss for all who knew you. I know beyond any shadow of doubt that you are with our Blessed Saviour Jesus Christ. Sending loads of to you. I miss you my dear friend.

Dearest Clovette,I was very sick with Sars-Cov -2 when you passed away. We had been corresponding back and forth. I was praying for you and you were praying for me. Then suddenly I did not hear from you. The news of your passing was kept from me because I was so sick. I must say I was glad I did not know at the time, because the news was so sad when I found out. You were very much our family, a sister and an auntie to my children. My how I will miss your beautiful smile and that unique infectious laughter. So many memories. When our oldest daughter got married, you were so helpful with everything and then gave the mother of the bride a foot rub at the end of the day which put me to sleep :-) Girl, you could give foot rubs! So glad I got to see you this summer. I will relish that visit always! The world will not be the same without you Dearest Clovette! Love you with all my heart!

Its just so hard to think of the world without Clovette in it, but very easy to see her dancing and singing with the angels in heaven. Clovette lived with our family for eight years. I have so many beautiful and delightful memories of her. One of the things that I remember is that she kept a big trunk and it was full of gifts that she had purchased to give to other people, especially the children in her life. That is a perfect picture of who Clovette was on this earth. She was a treasure chest full of the love of God and every day she gave gifts of kindness, encouragement and love to others. Our family has been so enriched by knowing her and loving her and being loved by her. Clovette is pure joy. She is absolutely one of a kind and she will be dearly missed by all of us who know and love her. Aprile Flickinger

Clovette was the most determined gal. I fully enjoyed supporting herand helping her over the many years. She was very proud of achieving the end result in the systems she worked within. Clovette fully committed herself to get her work done, to meet all the people, where in turn she actually touched all of us in a very special way because she was gracious and kind always. Miss you, and miss our French chatter. Dans les bras des dieux vous benisse mon ami.

My condolences to the family. I'm so sad to hear of Clovette's passing. We worked together for a few years in FSJ until I transferred to the lower mainland. She would always visit me when she came down. We went to Expo 86 together and had so much fun. I treasure the times we had together and will miss her and her wonderful smile and laughter so much. Oh wow. I can still hear her laughter and that smile. Clovie lived with our family when I was little. I still make some of her dishes and think of her as I dash the cayenne pepper in. General house rule was not to distract Clovie when she was dumping cayenne into a casserole. I remember going to work with her. Oh the patience she had. She always made little girl me think I was doing her a huge favor by helping her work. Ah. She was an incredible woman.

I've known Clovette for forty-four years. She was always happy and a great comfort, when I struggled, with the losses of my first baby, my Dad, and my little brother. She loved to remind Merlin that she told him that he should pursue me! She babysat our children, so we could go for a trip to the city. We were always encouraged, when we would visit each other's houses for meals, Bible studies, tea parties, and so much more. We love you and miss you, Clovette!! Prayers for comfort, all family and friends!

I never said yes to the drink but Clovette was a stubborn and passionate woman who talked me into many other things throughout the years. I will remember clovettes laugh, her most intense high fives and the exuberance with which she lived her life. I miss you Clovette but take solace that you are where you need to be A candle was lit
