Obituary of Harry Danshin

Obituary It is with great sadness that we share the passing of Harry Danshin at the age of 72, a much loved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. Harry will be sadly missed by his loving wife Elsie, his children Tammy, Tim (Rebecca), Teena and granddaughter Olivia. Lovingly remembered by his sister Grace Hansen, and brother Tom (Kim) Danshin. Harry was predeceased by his parents Paul and Mary, and his older brother Paul. A service will take place on Monday, March 1, 2021 at 1:30 pm (Fort St. John time). Family and friends are invited to view the service on livestream. Click here to view service. Harry had a passion for watching sports and playing fastball and curling. He was a founding member of the Taylor Curling Club where he developed many lifelong friendships. He particularly enjoyed camping and playing horseshoes with his friends and family. A highlight for him was his trip to Chicago with all his buddies to watch football and hockey. He looked forward to summer road trips exploring with Elsie and enjoying many outdoor adventures boating and fishing with his friends. In retirement, Harry's garage became the meeting place for all who wanted to stop by and have a beer! Harry will forever be remembered for his hard work ethic - he never took a break until the job was done, his ability to solve any problems, and his quickness and generosity to help a friend or stranger in need.
