He was a big man.... when you are a child... big men are somewhat intimidating. But he was a good friend to my family... and I remember with fondness that beautiful house. It was like a gem in the bush country crown of Cecil Lake. It made me long to see Switzerland... and that is still on my bucket list. Hugs to all of you amazing children and grandchildren that have inherited such an awesome legacy. I wish I could read some of what he wrote. What a beautifully written obituary. We will always remember his hearty, ready laugh and that wonderful baritone voice. Andy speaks often of how much he enjoyed it when your dad would join the rest of the farmers having coffee at the store on mail days.
