Obituary of Brandon Mitchell Williams

Obituary Brandon Mitchell Williams was born in Newfoundland on April 24, 1992. Brandon and his mom moved to Fort St. John, BC when he was 6 years old. Brandon graduated from North Peace Secondary School in June 2011. In his time in Fort St. John he accumulated some great friendships. After graduation Brandon went on to work in the oil and gas industry in the area and created an even bigger friend circle with his charismatic, outgoing, friendly personality. Always the life of any social gathering and definitely the humour. In 2019 Brandon moved to Vancouver, BC where he began working at the TWC Society. There he learned and supported many people in his journey and became a house manager. In July 2020, Brandon's proudest accomplishment was receiving his 1-year chip and we all couldn't be prouder. In October 2020 Brandon made the move back home to close the distance between him and his mom. Family was always so very important to Brandon; I don't think he went a day without calling his mom. The person he was devoted to the most in this world was her. When he spoke of his mom she was always referred to as "My Mom". His Uncle Gorvin, Aunt Yvonne, and Cousin Jeremy were all a big support for him. Brandon had an extraordinary talent for drawing as shown by the many tattoos that he designed for himself and friends. He was always connecting with someone whether it be through visits, social media, or text, he never left anyone ever feeling forgotten. His contagious smile and zest for life was felt by anyone who ever had the privilege of spending time with him. His humour and compassion for people drew so many people into his life that he loved as family and extended family. For Brandon cracking jokes, having fun, and just living life to the fullest was an everyday occurrence, he gave all of himself all the time. His strong will and huge heart were felt by all and he would never let someone get away without feeling his magnetic personality. When he returned to Fort St. John in 2020, he prided himself in reaching out to friends always offering up any all support with his whole heart. Brandon's amazing light in this world has left our hearts heavy and our eyes sore at its loss, his impact on this earth and the people he loved will never be forgotten. His love will always be cherished by all, forever and always. Brandon is remembered by his Mom Shirley, Step-dad Brian, Father Donald, Step-mother Liz, Sisters Emma, Lindsay (Frank), Brianne (Steven), his special Uncle Gorvin, Aunt Yvonne, Cousin Jeremy, Nephews Jack, Sawyer, Lukas, Fox, numerous Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and an immense number of friends. Brandon is predeceased by his Aunt Wavey. A Service is planned for a later date for Brandon. For My Son Son, I wish I could wake up and see you standing there. Then I would know that this was all just a nightmare. Son, I remember when you were small and how you would hold my hand And as you grew older you became my best friend. Son, I have 29 years of memories that I will treasure and keep safe in my heart. We share a bond that time and distance can never break apart. Son, oh how my heart aches so. I would love to have you back and never let you go. Son, where there was happiness, there is now sadness. Son, how I long to hear your voice and see your beautiful smile and have you back for just a little while. Son, until that day I see you again, I will look to the sky and search among the stars for my son and best friend. Love, Mom Services
