I have a Grade 2 and Grade 5 class picture where Penny and I are together. We stayed close from then on out. I can safely say we were best friends and were so for sixty-odd years. I spent a lot of time at the Pope house as we grew up. As Myrna told a friend we engaged in many shenanigans over the years. One of my favorite memories though was probably from a summer sometime in the 80's. I came home to Fort St John to visit and almost all us girls (me, Penny, Polly, Myrna, Colleen and my sister Wendy) got together in a park and had wine and cheese. It was wonderful we talked of the old days and caught up on our lives. That day was a pleasure moment. I always called Penny when I came home to visit and we always made time for one another for a visit. Penny is one of my oldest and most cherished friends whom I will love forever. Condolences and my love to Peggy, Penny Lane and all of Penny's family. Love Judy Eidse
