Met Coni fairly recently at a concert. I was blown away by the beauty of her soul. She was so kind and welcomed me. She struck me as being her authentic self and I truly admire that she had achieved what she wanted. Im sad the encounter was so brief but she will never be forgotten. Many years ago, I worked with Coni at Coachman Men's Wear...not long after we quickly become friends, I was overjoyed when I found out I was pregnant as were my friends & co-workers, but I don't think anyone was happier than Coni!! So much so, that she named my pregnant belly "Oscar". Throughout the years, I'd bring "Oscar" to her house yearly for Halloween & we'd visit for a bit & of course she'd give my son a whole bunch of love...I'm deeply saddened by this terrible news...my heart hurts for the family My deepest condolences for you all Gord, Steve, Timbre & families

Coni was always happy and full of life. She brightened your day when you ran into her. I knew Coni from working with her at Zellers and going to the gym. She would always take time out to visit or have a conversation. I had just seen her when I was getting my nails done. She never let on that there was anything wrong with her health.
