Obituary of Koral Asai

Obituary It is with incredible sadness, that the family of Koral Asai announces her sudden passing on September 7, 2022, at age 65. Born to Jack and Cleo Butterfield in Vancouver, BC on August 1, 1957, Koral met and married the love of her life, Ray Asai 42 years ago. Together they moved to Fort St. John in 1980 and raised their three beautiful daughters. Koral treasured her family and devoted her life to them. She loved to share travel adventures with her husband and doting on her grandchildren whom she adored. Koral leaves behind a lifetime of beautiful and happy memories for everyone who knew her. Koral is survived by her husband Ray, daughters Nicole, Melissa (Blair), and Kimberley (Travis) and grandchildren, Akira, Claire, Evan, and Tristan. She also leaves behind her mother, Cleo and sisters, Reef (Rick) and Lori (Neil) as well as her nieces, Sara and Jenna, nephews, Kirk, Cole, Jason and Darren, and many friends. A private service will be held in celebration of Koral’s life on Monday, September 26 at 1:00pm.
