Obituary of Debra Lynn Oliarny

Obituary It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of wife, mother, daughter, sister, grandmother, and aunt. Debbie lost her courageous two year battle with cancer on October 30, 2022. She passed away at home with family members by her side. Debbie is survived by her husband of 29 years, Wayne, daughter Roylene (Josh), son Mathew (Chrystal), mother Cathy, sisters Cynthia Ann (Ed), Corinne Lee (Jay), grandmother Ellen, several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles, as well as many dear friends. Debbie was predeceased by her father Wally in 2010. Debbie was born in Edmonton, Alberta on October 16, 1969. She lived with her parents in Fox Creek and Eckville, Alberta before moving to Fort St. John, BC in 1978. She attended Grandhaven School, then Bert Bowes Jr. Secondary and graduated from North Peace Secondary School. She and Wayne were married in 1993, residing in Taylor, BC for several years and later moving to Charlie Lake, BC. Debbie worked for Canadian Tire for a few years before she and Wayne started their family. She then worked for Canfor for many years, first in Taylor and later in Fort St. John. Debbie loved her pets, particularly her dogs. Her latest dog, Jet, was a constant and devoted companion. She enjoyed adventures and travel with destinations like Hawaii, Mexico, and several points in the USA. Travel companions were her family or a dear friend Diane. Special thanks are extended to Dr. Wright and palliative Care Society for their special care. A celebration of Debbie's life will be held in the spring. Services
