Dear Pamela, Regan, and KelseyI was shocked and saddened to hear about Currie's recent passing... When I talked to him at Ernie's funeral he mentioned some aches and pains he had (and who doesn't have those...?), but he seemed vibrant -- as always. Which is how I remember him: passionate, engaged, full of love for life. John 10:10 comes to mind when I think of Currie, where Jesus said, "I came so that they would have life, and have it abundantly." I'm convinced he knew the abundant life! But now I'm praying that God will comfort you in your loss with the knowledge that Currie is living more abundantly than he ever did before. With deep sympathy Paul Unger

One of the best aluminum jet boat builders in Western Canada, Currie Lundstrom of Fort St. John, BC passed away on Monday. Designed and built to pack loads up the Muskwa and Tuchodi Rivers. Lundstrom boats were made to last...if you owned one of Currie's boats you would never have to buy another. He was always ready to help other jet boaters out and welcomed visitors to his camp at the top of the Tuchodi River. Pictures show Currie with his favorite 24 ft. freighter at the Tuchodi Lakes and piloting the wrecked Cessna in the bush just below the lakes. He will be missed by all who knew him.

Condolences to the family. So sorry to hear. He was a great guy. Learned a lot from the shop he had in Clairmont years ago. Had many rides with him and my dad in Currys boat on the Peace and Pine fishing. He will be missed by many and will be known as a legend as far as I'm concerned.

I saw Currie many times while working on the Tuchodi. I have so much respect for him and how he ran those rivers. Tuchodi would be very low in the fall and he would boat by me a midnight! His boats and abilities were simply amazing! Very sad to hear this news.

I had the opportunity of hunting with Curry and his boys for 20 years (with my dad and brother). He had such an adventurous spirit and was a kid at heart. He had such a creative and practical mind for thinking outside the box. Sorry for your loss Pam, Regan, and Kelsie. We will definitely miss him here but also know he has a new crazy adventure with Jesus now that we wont be able to grasp till we see him on the other side. Our prayers are with your family

Many waters have passed under the riverboat, since Dennis and Currie became friends. We will miss his bright personality, stories and often teasing nature. Currie stood steadfast in his christian walk. We are proud of him for that. "See you up there old friend."

Oh my goodness this is a huge shock, just seen him at the hospital waiting for a ride home a couple weeks ago. We chatted for about a half hour or so, I offered to drive him home but he had a friend coming to pick him up and was waiting for call to go to Prince George? Ive been wondering about him. My deepest condolences to Pamela, and the boys. Currie was a magnificent, upbeat human being. I really enjoyed his company. We are going to miss you. RIP Currie
