Obituary of Paul Wuthrich

Obituary It is with sadness that the family announces the passing of Paul Wuthrich on February 2, 2023 in Fort St. John, British Columbia. Paul was born on April 23, 1940 in Walkringen, Switzerland. There were twelve children in his family ~ six boys and six girls. In 1963, Paul and one other brother came to Canada to work at the dairy farm of Karl and Madlen Wuthrich. In the meantime, Paul met Susan. They fell in love and were married in 1968. They built up a farm in the Flatrock area (aka Dog Patch), and raised three children who are all married ~ Donna (Rod Mercer), David (Karen Adam), and Daniel (Chrystal Clarke). He also leaves behind eleven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Paul was always involved in the community and served on several boards. He was an avid curler and especially enjoyed the fellowship. Paul always took time to listen, mentor, and give a helping hand when needed. He loved the land, the open skies, and the North Peace Country. There will be a Celebration of Life held on Saturday, February 11, 2023 at 2:00 pm at the Taylor Community Hall.
