Obituary
Mary Lundin (Ellis) was born in Duncan , British Columbia on January 2, 1960 to Margret and Don Ellis. She passed away in her sleep, in the morning hours of March 21, 2023 with her children and her son in law by her side.
Mary was raised in Rosedale and went to high school in Chilliwack, BC. She graduated in 1978 and moved to Fort St. John, where she lived until she moved to Edmonton ,AB in 2016.
Mary was an avid sports enthusiast. She played baseball as a teenager and continued to show her love for the sport by continuing to play into her adult years. She was a member of the Thursday Morning Coffee Bowling League at the Fort Bowling Lanes in Fort St. John for many years and later in life she found a love for golf. Aside from playing baseball, bowling, and golf, Mary was a fan of watching the Toronto Blue Jays (like her Mother), cheering on the Edmonton Oilers and catching any curling or golf game she could find. It brought great joy to Mary to see her love of sports passed down to her children and she looked forward to watching her kids play in various sports and activities.
Mary is survived by her son, Bradley Lundin, her daughter, Jody Knutson (Jason) as well as her 5 grandchildren, Madison, Caressa, Diane, William and Amelia. She will also be remembered by her sisters, Donna Clifford and Kathy Whyte (Don), her brothers Wesley Ellis, Richard Ellis (Heather) and Dave Ellis (Elaine) and her sister in law Kathy Ellis (Wayne) as well as many nieces and nephews.
Mary is preceded by both her mother and father as well as her brother, Wayne Ellis and Brother in law Harold Clifford (Donna).
