Obituary of Shirley Lackey

Obituary We regretfully announce the passing of Shirley Ann Lackey (beloved spouse of Jim Lackey) of Little Britain, Ontario, on May 26, 2023. Shirley was with her family and passed away peacefully. Shirley, was a dedicated mother, wife and friend, who enjoyed good conversation and travel with friends and family. Spending time with her seven grandchildren was always a priority, and their time together always brought her joy. After marrying James Thomas Lackey in 1971, they went on to have four children, Joshua, Melissa, Isaac, and Samantha. Shirley was a wonderful and loving mother who gave her all to her family in her role as a home-maker. Shirley was predeceased by her husband Jim, sister Barbara Jean Horsfield, and parents Allan and Jean Horsfield. She is survived by her children Josh (Lori), Melissa (Cliff), Ike (Meghan), and Sam, her grandchildren Megan, Taylor, Morgan, Ryan, Ewan, Theda, and Frank, as well as her great-granddaughter Carter and her sisters Betty Behm (Ken) and Tammy Longyear (Dean).
