Obituary of Clara Violet Rice

Obituary Clara Violet Rice will be lovingly remembered by her family and friends. Clara was born in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan on March 22, 1935 and, after living most of her life in Fort St. John, British Columbia, passed away at the age of 88 on June 13, 2023 in Medicine Hat, Alberta Clara was the firstborn to Ernest and Mary Rice. She was the eldest of six children, and was followed by Marie Palmer (Dale), Bernice McKay (Dean), Morris Rice (Roberta), Beve Goddard (Don), and Darlene McCausland. Clara's son Rodney Rice was born on August 16, 1956 and passed away in 2017. There will be a Celebration of Life held in honor of Clara on Saturday, July 15, 2023 at 2:00 pm at the Fort St. John Evangelical Mission Church (8220 89 Avenue).
