Obituary of Daryl Wayne Mytron

Obituary Daryl Wayne Mytron, born in Dawson Creek, B.C. on October 16, 1951 to Lloyd & Muriel Mytron. Sadly Daryl passed in Vancouver on March 27, 2023 at the age of 71. Daryl went directly off to University in Victoria after high school to obtain his teaching degree and later on obtained his Masters Degree. Daryl’s contributions to each school he worked at in the arts department was extensive as evidenced by the love of his students that extended well into retirement. After retiring from teaching, Daryl started doing Interior Design work full time with many satisfied and repeat clients. Daryl could not stray too far from teaching as he volunteered his time to do tours in the Vancouver Art Gallery and Museum of Anthropology. Daryl’s love of art showed in his eclectic collections that he gathered on his world travels. In his later years, primarily thru Covid, Daryl started to paint again to pass the time. The family is grateful for the beautiful pieces he painted that he kindly gifted to everyone. Daryl is survived by his 3 brother’s, Melvin (Bev), Gordon (Sharon), Curtis (Tracy) and sister Wanda along with several nieces and nephews. Daryl leaves behind an endless list of friends. Daryl’s wish is to be brought home to the Peace Region for his final resting place. A Celebration of Life in honor of Daryl will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, July 20, 2023 from the Fort St. John Royal Canadian Legion.
