My wife and I first met Cathy and Ed on the Anthem of the Seas, a Royal Caribbean ship, during a holiday cruise in December of 2019. Although that is not that long ago, I feel like I've known Cathy for a much longer time. The first night of a cruise, the first dinner to be more specific, is kinda like Christmas morning for us. The excitement of meeting the other folks that you've been randomly grouped with for dinner. It is these people that help make the cruise and we always hope to meet new and interesting people. It was the 5:30 on December 20th when we arrived at table 132. It was a table for eight people. Cathy and Ed were two of the six other people that were seated at our table. By the end of that first dinner, a new life-long friendship for all eight people seated at that table had been formed. We went on to enjoy many more cruises together. Even missing out on three or four that were canceled during the pandemic. We are thankful for the great times that we shared together with Cathy and Ed and they will always be members of our cruise posse. I am sure that she will be with us on many of our future adventures as we experience new and interesting ports and cultures. We miss you cruise buddy!

I'm truly heart broken over Cathy's passing. She was like a second mom to me growing up. I have no idea how she didn't lose her mind with the four of us kids. We were always doing something we weren't supposed to. Jumping out of barn lofts, skateboarding and roller blading in the basement and daring each other to run into things. Constantly having acorn fights. I remember Cathy waking up in the middle of the night to a busted water bed. 100% not our fault... ;) Thankfully she and my mom were best friends so they could commiserate. There were so many trips to the beach. We were always all together. Some of the best times in my life and days I will never forget. I'll always miss you, Cathy. I love you so much.

I met Cathy while working at Happy Trails RV. It didnt take long to develop an admiration for her character and hard work. It became a daily occurrence to visit each others work station and share stories. She would speak her mind and also listen with a compassionate ear. Her passion became planning her and Eds next cruise days after returning from their last cruise. Over the years we kept in touch thru social media, even had the odd RV service call over the phone. You will always be remember as a beautiful soul and wonderful friend. Rest In Peace Cathy.
