Bill (William John) Jardine 

June 23,1928 - May 15, 2024

The family of Bill Jardine is sad to announce the peaceful passing of Dad/Grampa on May 15,2024 in Fort St John, BC.

Bill was born on June 23, 1928 in White Fox, SK.

Bill was predeceased by his oldest daughter Susan and survived by his 5 children - Oliver (Julie), Earl (Alice), Elaine (Elton), Emily and Lorelie. Bill was blessed to live to nearly 96 years and see 5 generations of descendants. He has a huge extended family in BC, Alberta and Saskatchewan. 

Bill lived his life on his own accord. He spent years in the oilfields before “retiring” to gold mining in BC and the Yukon. His gypsy soul led him on many adventures but he always returned home to Fort St John to check in with family. McDonald’s gift certificates for the generations of grandchildren were a given at Christmas time. He loved music and dancing and a cold beer. His fighting Irish spirit lives on in the generations of Jardines he leaves behind.
