Obituary of Ross Craig Musgrove
Ross Musgrove
1974 - 2024
Ross was born in Fort St. John, British Columbia on September 13, 1974 to Ann and Karl Musgrove.
Ross attended Upper Pine School in Rose Prairie for his elementary school years and enjoyed playing goalie for the Upper Pine rural hockey team. After high school, Ross spent a formative year working on a cattle station in Queensland, Australia. When he returned home he trained as a heavy duty mechanic and eventually moved into sales selling heavy equipment across western Canada.
Ross' son Tyler was born in 2002 and was his greatest joy. He loved Tyler so very much.
Ross only ever wanted to be a rancher and worked hard to maintain and build upon what his parents had already built. He moved to the ranch late 2006 and began to look after the ranch while still working in town, eventually ranching full-time a few years later. Ross always had help and support from his sister, Heather. He loved working cows, branding days, haying a good field, and going for a ride to go look at the cattle.
Ross met his partner, Jane on horseback at a Man Tracker event. They spent the next 9 loving years building a life together on the ranch. They enjoyed travelling whenever possible. BBQ's with friends and family, working cattle, tring new foods and relaxing watching movies. You could often find them together driving through the cattle admiring the herd. In recent years they were building a small home on the ranch. It was almost complete at Ross's passing. They were eagerly planning a trip for Ross's 50th birthday. Ross will be forever loved and missed by Jane.
Ross leaves to mourn his son Tyler, loving partner Jane, his parents Karl and Ann, his sister and brother-in-law Heather and Brad.
A celebration of life was held for Ross.
