Obituary of Claude Josep Albert Renaud

Claude Joseph Albert Renaud  

Born August 8, 1955 in Wawa, Ontario          Died March 24, 2024 in Fort St John

It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Claude Renaud.  Claude was born to Irene Archamault and Leo Renaud.   He had 6 siblings, was raised by his grandmother and moved to Fort St John with her in 1966.  As an adult he became a truck driver – sometimes in the oil patch and in more recent years with local companies.  He loved driving and often spoke of his many trips to Mayo in the Yukon and how he would stop to camp and fish along the way.  

Claude is survived by his two daughters, Donna (Steve) and Brittni (Michael) and grandchildren Saphira and Joey, as well as many other relatives and friends.  

His last few years were devoted to working hard so that he could then help others.  He felt God’s presence with him very strongly in those years and throughout his time in hospital – in the end he said he was ready to go home and did so peacefully.

Claude’s family and friends wish to thank the many people over the years who have helped him so much.  He appreciated the time, patience, love and respect that people showed him. 

Claude's Memorial Service will be held April 20, 2024 @ 2pm
