Anna Braun

Age 73 years, 3 months 23 days
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Anna Braun. She passed away peacefully in Fort St John, BC February 16th at 1:27pm with her kids and her sister Sarah at her bedside listening to the psalms 23.
Anna was the second child to Henry and Agnetha (Wiebe) Bueckert in Takysie Lake BC, she then moved to Burns Lake around 1952, then to Mapes around 1956,and to Prespatou in 1964, with her parents and siblings at the age of 14, where she helped with homesteading and raising her brothers and sisters.
She talked about spending time at the Brauns home babysitting the younger siblings of Cornie who then became Sherry and Kennys father when he and Anna decided to get married June 29th 1975 and moved to Fort St John BC. Soon to follow came Sandra. They moved to south peace stock farms, Where Jimmy and Roger joined them.
Anna and Cornie were married 20 years before he passed away suddenly in 1995.
Ann will be missed by her daughter Sherry (Jason) Martin and their sons Chad (Natalie) Martin and Trent (Jessie-Lee) Martin. Her son Kenny and his daughters Havana Helton and Daphne Aquin. Daughter Sandra (Bruce) Wightman and their children Erin (Curtis) Harnack, Morgan Wightman, and Conner Wightman. Her son Jimmy (Jenna) Braun. As well as Roger Braun, and 10 great-grandchildren.
Anna will also be missed by siblings John (Marie) Bueckert, Hella Zacharias, Jake (Eva) Bueckert, Sister Eva (Abe) Peters, Betty (Ben) Bueckert, Ben (Sara) Bueckert, Frank (Eva) Bueckert, and Sarah (Peter) Reimer. She will be missed by many in-laws including Anne (Abe) Braun, Anna (Fenton) Braun, John (Charlene) Braun, Pete Braun, Mary (Rick) Binkley, Tina Braun, Dick Braun, Hank Braun (Angie Durocher), Susan Braun (Richard Mytopher), and Eva Braun (Glen Allen).
Anna was pre deceased by her husband Cornelius Braun and his parents Peter and Tina (Unruh) Braun;her parents Henry and Agnetha (Wiebe) Bueckert; brother Bill Bueckert, brothers-in-law; John Zacharias, Abe Braun, and Bill Braun; nephew Kevin Braun and niece Charlene Teichroeb-Bueckert.

A viewing will be held at Hamres Funeral Chapel on Wednesday, February 21 at 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm.
A funeral service for Anna will be held Thursday, February 22 at 2:00 pm at the Fort St. John Evangelical Mission Church
with interment to follow at Woodlawn Cemetery.
