Obituary of Barbara Jean Pope

 

 

In loving memory of Barbara Jean Pope

October 10, 1956-December 27,2023

 

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Barbara Jean Pope. Beloved mother, grandma, sister, auntie, cousin and dear friend.

 

Barb was born on October 10, 1956 in Maclennan Alberta and passed away on December 27, 2023 in Fort St. John, BC surrounded by loved ones.

 

Barb is survived by her children Christopher, Jarret and Jordan. Grandchildren Sierra, Araya, Darren, Telia, Kaleb, Jarret Jr., Gracelynn , Elijah, Brooklyn, Reese, Briar and Beckett. Great grandchildren, Blake-Lynn, Dream, Brothers Gerald, Rocky, Gordon, Curtis and Jason. Sister Vina. Many nephews, nieces cousins and dear friends.

 

Barb was predeceased by her son Darren Munch, brother Ed Pope and parents Ed and Gertie Pope.

 

Barb had a zest for life which led her on many adventures that connected her with many people whom she developed lifelong friendships. She will be deeply missed by all of those whose lives she touched. Her laugh and smile will be remembered by all who loved her.

 

Memorial donations can be made to the Women’s resource centre of Fort St. John in Barbs name.

 

There will be a celebration of life on May 17, 2024 with internment with her beloved son Darren at the Woodlawn cemetery at 1pm followed by a gathering at the legion at 4 pm.  

 

 

 

 

A limb has fallen from the family tree that says grieve not for me
